Terms and Condition

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. References to “us”, “we” and/or “our” in these booking terms and conditions shall mean Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company.

I acknowledge that I am 18 years of age or older and that I understand and agree with the all terms and conditions.
Information on name, sex, date of birth, and nationality as to passport must be received by Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company for your reservation as required by all parties, airline companies and all other service’s provides.

Deposit and Final Payment:
You will be required to pay a deposit of $200 at time reservations is made. You will be advised of due date for balance of payments is required for services arrangements made on your behalf (Eg: Air flights Hotel Reservation Holiday packages tours ect.) Where special holiday offers are available at reduced cost (eg. air fares accommodation ect. May need to be paid in full with in some day arrangements being made.

Land Only Reservations:
In addition to the price of services a fee of $30.00 will apply, for services by other parties fees and or charges may very. You will be informed  accordingly.

Payments by Credit Card  / PayPal:
Credit card surcharges may apply for Visa and MasterCard will apply when paying by credit card. If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company . In the event that payment has been made to us by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to us. All payment made by credit card we must view the original C/C with your signature and all other details. Credit card authorization form must be completed in full. All prices and payments are in Australian Dollars.

Payments by Cheque:
Please note that cheque payments (including bank cheque) require 5 business days to process. If you are paying by this method you will need to make the payment at least 5business days prior to the actual due date. You agree not to stop payment of the cheque even when you cancel a booking. You agree that we may apply the proceeds of the cheque to satisfy any liability you have to us, including any liability in respect of cancellation fees, before refunding the balance to you.

Transportation / Limousine Transfers
Airlines Bus  Car Water way transportation train plus all other means of transport camels horses carts ect.. Where tickets are purchased for passage do not include tax’s and or other charges unless stated. We have a maximum waiting time of 15 minute from schedule pick-up time additional waiting time charged at $1.50 a minute, minimum charge $15

Taxes:
Airline taxes are subject to change and are confirmed at the time your airline ticket is issued. There may also be a local tax charged at some airports and countries that need to be paid on location. All vehicles services operated by Melbourne International Travel & Tour company with in Australia / Melbourne GST toll fees are included.

INSURANCE
Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company We strongly recommend that passengers insure themselves adequately for the duration of their holiday against loss’s

Travel Insurance:
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel. Assietravelcover or CHI Insurance can be purchased through Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company. Travel Cover. Information can be obtained  via our office or on line mittc.com.au. Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company  will have no liability if you chose not to take out adequate cover for your travels.

 PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE
International or domestic airport taxes (unless stated in itinerary / tour reservation), expenses and items of a personal nature, passport and visa costs, vaccinations and inoculations, meals, beverage, laundry, dry cleaning, gratuities to tour manager, local guides, coach drivers, cabin and dining room stewards. All other items not mentioned on services are not included.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
A valid passport is required by all passengers. Visas and passports are the responsibility of the passenger.

If hotels listed are not available on the dates requested Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company reserves the right to substitute a hotel of equivalent standard and value.

An individual requesting accommodation on a shared basis is liable to payment of the single room supplement, if another individual cannot be arranged by Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company to share the room.

BAGGAGE INFORMATION
Luggage allowance is 20/30 kilograms (440lbs) per person, travelling economy class. Cabin baggage is limited to one bag not exceeding 115cm (45”) in overall measurement and providing it will fit under the aircraft seat. Luggage in excess of these limits may be charged at the appropriate excess baggage rates. Note some variations of allowances and rates may apply between airlines. Some airlines will allow additional weight allowance. Check with agent at time of reservation, SOME DISCOUNTED FARES CHECK IN LUGGAGE AT EXTRA COST, excess baggage that can not be accommodated on services we have the right refuse all services with no refund.

ADJUSTMENTS TO PRICES
Prices contained have been calculated on currency exchange rates prevailing the time of publication. Should there be currency fluctuations or price increase, which affect the prices of services, we retain the right to adjust all prices to reflect such changes.

DOCUMENTATION
Documents for confirmed reservations will be sent to your nominated address by our travel agents around 21 days prior to departure or 7 days once we receive cleared funds.  We advise you to keep in contact with our office or your travel agent, to ensure a timely arrival of your documents. We regret that due to unforeseen circumstances and delays outside our control, we cannot be held responsible for delay in the arrival of travel documents.

NON UTILISATION OF SERVICES
No refunds can be made for any services not utilised by the passenger under any circumstances, once they have departed Australia.

RESPONSIBILITY
Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company (“the Company”) acts only as booking agents for the hotels, airlines, bus or car companies, railroad or steamship lines or owners or contractors providing accommodation, transportation or other services, and all coupons, exchange orders, receipts, are subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which any accommodation, transportation or any other services whatsoever are provided by such hotels, airlines, bus or car companies, railroads, steamship lines or owners or contractors. The Company shall not be liable or held responsible for death of or any injury to any person or loss of or damage to any property of otherwise including baggage, whether due to its or its servants, agents or employees negligence or otherwise arising out of or in resulting directly or indirectly from act of God, dangers incidents of sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or customs regulations, delays or cancellations of a change of schedules in itinerary, or over booking or defaults, or from any causes beyond the company’s control or through the steamship lines or owners or contractors providing accommodation, transportation or other services or for any loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient passports, visas or other documents and that neither the company nor its servants, agents or employees shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expense or liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of nay of the foregoing causes. Prices quoted are subject to change without notice having regard to unforeseen circumstances, foreign exchange fluctuations and variations in airline operating costs including, but not limited to, say an escalation of fuel prices. Unused services cannot be refunded or exchanged. The Company reserves the right to cancel the tour and/or modify the itinerary in any ways it thinks desirable and further reserves the right to decline to accept any person or any tour and may substitute hotels where necessary. The insurance shall be deemed consent to the above conditions. The Company reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time. Prices are subject to change with or without notice. Any complaints should be lodged in writing to the Company within 14 days of return to Australia.

LATE BOOKING AND AMENDMENT FEES
Bookings can be accepted up until 24/7 prior to departure without any charges. However, within this time full payment must be made at time of reservation. Once a booking has been confirmed, either verbally or by written confirmation, all the above conditions including those regarding cancellation fees will apply.  Charges can vary from operator to operator, Our operation we will make all possible to deliver our services as to requests made. A full refund will be made on transfers if not able to deliver service

Prices:
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without prior notice. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control. Increase to cost of product and or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. Please contact your consultant for up to date prices.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation must be made in writing to Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company. For all bookings and services, there is a cancellation fee of $200 (PLUS of GST IF APPLICABLE) per person. Where special airfares and or accommodation special rates are being purchased there is no refund or changes allowed. Cancellation fees will be in addition to any cancellation fees charged by any principal airline, accommodation providers, transport companies and any other party involved with the supply of services.

For cancellation after this time an additional fee as percentage of total payment are due: (Tours/Packages.)

  • 45 days Prior to departure 40%
  • 30 Days Prior to departure 60%
  • 21 Days Prior to departure 80%
  • 14 Days Prior to departure 100%

Refunds, Changes and Cancellation Fees:
We are unable to provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from the relevant supplier. Cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced or not. Fees and extra charges will apply where a booking is changed. Fees and extra charges will also apply when tickets or documents are re-issued. Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee or charge for any booking which you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge. Excluding transportation operated Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company.

Our Services:
Paid online guarantee supply 8 hours prior to pickup. All clients will be notified driver and vehicle registration prior to pick up time In advance.

Between 8 hours and pick time confirmation will be communicated via SMS, Email or Telephone.

Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company:
We act as an agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators. Our obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not us. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider and not with us.

Liability:

We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Special requirements you may have for your travel arrangements such as special meal and seating requests. We will do all possible to accommodate your request, however as it is via a third party we cannot be responsible if services are not supplied. or available.

Frequent Flyer:
Please advise your frequent flyer membership details if applicable for inclusion in your booking. Please check your frequent flyer program for the specific terms of your membership. We cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit you with points for your Reservation.

Passports & Visas:
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of return and some countries require a machine-readable passport. If you need information regarding visa and other travel document requirements for your trip please Inform us.. We can obtain such information from Consulate /Embassy of country your travel is related on your behalf. We do not warrant the accuracy of such information and accept no liability for any loss or damage which you may suffer in reliance on it. If you wish, we can obtain visas for you through this external service and fees will apply.  If you are travelling to the United States please see https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov for information regarding compulsory pre-registration for their visa waiver program. Please note, you may not meet the requirements of ESTA and may be required to obtain a visa.

Travel Advice:               I
For travel advice please contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or visit their website at www.smartraveUer.gov.au. You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel and ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination     documentation. Please check with your local doctor or specialist vaccination clinic.

Travel Documents:
Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. Travel documents cannot be transferred to another person to use. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled. Any errors in names, dates and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if not advised at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to collect all travel documents from us prior to travel. As a general rule your travel documents will be available for collection 2 weeks prior to departure, however this will depend on

your individual arrangements. Please contact your consultant to confirm when your travel documents are ready for collection.

Monies paid to us:
All monies paid by you to us will be the property of Melbourne International Travel & Tour Company and will be a debt due and payable to the travel service provider once the services to which the money relates have been provided. You agree and acknowledge that such monies will not be held by us.. Deposits collected will not mean that your price is guaranteed. Final checks are made at time of full payment have being received to insure that all conditions are met up-on receivable of full payments. Any difference must be collected. All price’s are guaranteed on day of reservation if paid in full on the day unless special arrangements have being made.

Governing Law;
If any dispute arises in r .n to the agreement between you and us, the laws of Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.

Once Payments has being received for service purchased deposits and or payments in full all conditions will apply.
